Engine Ice

High-performance coolant that keeps our cars at temp under pressure.

Who They Are

Engine Ice is a thermal-management company that builds high-performance coolants for motorsports. Their core product, Engine Ice High Performance Coolant, is engineered for race conditions — lower operating temperatures, better heat dissipation, and protection that holds up under the kind of thermal stress that breaks standard coolants. The related ICE Water product runs as a track-spec coolant in classes that don't allow ethylene glycol.

What We Use

  • Engine Ice High Performance Coolant in the Spec Miata's daily-driver cooling system
  • ICE Water for race-weekend use where sanctioning rules require non-glycol coolant
  • Their thermal management expertise informs how we set up our cooling systems each season

Why We Partner With Them

Spec Miata racing at altitude in Colorado is brutal on cooling systems. High Plains Raceway sits at 5,100 feet. Pueblo Motorsports Park is even higher. Long sessions in 90°F summer heat at thin-air altitude will cook a stock cooling setup, fast.

Engine Ice keeps us at temp. When most of our competitors are dealing with creeping coolant temps in the back half of a race stint, our drivers can push the whole session. That's not marketing — it's something we'd notice immediately if we stopped running their products.
