Who They Are
GoPro essentially invented the modern action-camera category in 2002 when Nick Woodman strapped a 35mm film camera to his wrist to shoot surfing in Indonesia. Two decades later, their HERO line is the default camera for action sports — used by everyone from weekend warriors to professional athletes to film studios shooting documentaries.
What We Use
- In-car HERO cameras capture every session — driver point-of-view, dashboard view, mirror view
- Trackside cameras at key corners catch the action from outside
- Mounts and accessories for fast in-car repositioning between sessions
Why We Partner With Them
GoPro footage does two jobs for the team:
-
Driver coaching — there's no better feedback tool than watching a driver's own lap back, frame by frame, alongside their coach. Where their eyes are pointed, when their hands are turning, when they're getting on throttle. Our coaches use GoPro footage every weekend.
-
Community building — the real footage from inside the cockpit is what gets young racers excited about the sport. We post in-car laps on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok all season. That content is GoPro's category and nobody else does it as well.
