Who They Are
Les Schwab founded his namesake tire company in 1952 in Prineville, Oregon. Over the next seven decades it grew into one of the most trusted independent tire retailers in the western United States, with hundreds of locations across the West and a reputation for service that doesn't quit. Family-owned, employee-driven, and famous for running out to greet customers in the parking lot.
What They Do For Us
- Mount and balance every race tire we run all season
- Handle the disposal headache that comes with replacing tire sets every weekend
- Stock the brands we run and turn things around fast when we need them in a hurry
- Serve as our presenting partner at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Fan Fest every June in Colorado Springs
Tire work at race-team volume is one of those costs that sneaks up on new teams. Having a partner that handles it professionally — not as a side favor — changes what a race weekend looks like.
Why We Partner With Them
Trust. Les Schwab built the brand on a service standard that's hard to find. When we drop tires off on Thursday for a Saturday race, they're ready. When something goes sideways at the track and we need a quick turn, they make it work. Reliability matters more than logos.
