Who They Are
OG Racing was founded in 1990 by Bill Love, who started the company literally out of the back of his pickup truck with a mission he printed on every page he could: "Making Racers Safer." Three and a half decades later, they're the largest motorsports safety retail network in the country and the official gear supplier for NASA Racing.
What They Do For Us
- Outfit every LFR driver in current-spec helmets, suits, gloves, shoes, and head-and-neck restraints
- Operate the official NASA Racing gear store — where most of our sanctioning organization's gear flows through
- Stock everything from grassroots-friendly entry gear to top-tier professional safety equipment
- Carry the brands we trust most (Stand21, Bell, Sparco, OMP, HANS, and more)
When a new driver joins the program, we walk them through OG Racing's lineup to get the right fit for their experience level, budget, and the class they're racing in.
Why We Partner With Them
When a driver's life depends on the gear, you don't compromise on the supplier. OG Racing has been doing this longer than most teams have existed, and the depth of their knowledge — what's certified for what class, what fits which body type, what's new in head-and-neck restraint design — is something a single team could never build internally.
The Bill Love story matters too. A guy who started by selling gear out of his truck because he believed racers deserved safer equipment, and built it into the industry standard, is exactly the kind of partner LFR wants to align with. Mission-first. Racer-first.
